The research connects materials and chemical engineering with circular-economy and innovation-systems analysis.

  • Examine primary and recycled material requirements as electrolyser deployment expands.
  • Investigate manufacturing, recovery and recycling barriers alongside innovation processes.
  • Connect engineering constraints with Dutch and European circular-economy policy questions.

Cradle-to-cradle development is a research objective. The project does not claim an already demonstrated closed material cycle or quantified material savings.
